Drew is a writer, director, actress, and producer. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Cinema and Media Studies, and accidentally took a few business courses along the way. She was the Director and Head Writer for Bloomers, Penn’s premier musical sketch comedy troupe for underrepresented gender identities.

She writes pilots, features, shorts, sketches, essays, and poems—some of which can be found on this page. Her short film Wait won three awards at the Best Shorts Film Festival: Best Script, Best Woman Filmmaker, and Best Short. Her most recent short, Don’t F*** Your Brother, is currently in post-production and is projected to win many awards on many continents—maybe even the Pulitzer Prize, if you’re familiar with that sort of thing.

When she isn’t writing, she’s impersonating family members, going on long runs, watching tv (research), hugging friends, and increasing shareholder value.

She believes people are characters, words are perfect, and that every bag of popcorn should come with a complementary toothpick.

Drew doesn’t write in the third person often.
